Summary: The Sutta Piṭaka is the basket of discourses in the Pāli Tipiṭaka. It preserves sermons, dialogues, verses, narratives, doctrinal explanations, and practical instructions attributed to the Buddha and his close disciples.

Overview

The Sutta Piṭaka is organized into five nikāyas, or collections. The first four are arranged mainly by discourse length, topic, or numerical structure; the fifth, the khuddaka nikaya, gathers shorter and more mixed works that do not fit neatly into those four patterns.

This wiki currently has full Dhammapada coverage, raw-backed overview/source-reader coverage for several Khuddaka texts, and initial conservative overview/source-reader pages for all four main nikāyas.
