Definition: Indriya-paccaya is the sixteenth of the twenty-four paccayas named in the Paṭṭhāna. Its canonical definition states that the sense faculties condition their corresponding consciousness-elements and associated dhammas, that material life-faculty conditions kamma-produced material form, and that the immaterial faculties condition associated dhammas and the material form arisen from them (Paṭṭh 2; Paṭṭh 43-44).

Stub: pilot. This page records the canonical Abhidhamma definition first; fuller comparison with other paccayas belongs to later paccaya-family expansion.
