Definition: In the Abhidhamma matrices, abyākata names dhammas that are neither wholesome nor unwholesome in the ethical sense. It is the third term of the Dhammasaṅgaṇī's opening triad (Dhs 3).

Stub: pilot. This stub records the opening Abhidhamma usage first; later passes can expand the internal distinctions among resultant, functional, material, and unconditioned dhammas.
